8th PIMS: newly-joined Geely PH looks back at milestones

Present at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) is Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines’ (CAMPI) new member, Geely Philippines. The marque’s local arm had two of its best-selling models on display — the Geely Coolray and the Geely Emgrand.

Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yugo Kiyofuji looked back at Geely Philippines’ impressive journey which saw the brand climb up the ranks of the local automotive industry.

At the time of writing, Geely Philippines is among the top 10 car brands in the Philippines. In the coming years, Kiyofuji said that the brand aims to be part of the country’s top five automakers. The Philippines, added Geely Philippines’ boss, is one of the brand’s strongest markets export-wise.

Geely Philippines thanks its 37-strong dealership which played an instrumental role in the company’s success. Some of its recently opened dealerships include those in Bataan, Bacolod, Palawan, Calamba (Laguna), Butuan, and Naga.

During the 8th PIMS' opening day, Geely Philippines invited attendees to visit their booth to find out the promotions they offer.

PIMS kicked off yesterday, September 15, and will end in Sunday, September 18.
