AAP Adjusts Towing, Service Rates on NLEX, SCTEX

Due to the Bureau of Internal Revenue's (BIR) reclassifying of the Automobile Association Philippines' (AAP) tax status as a value-added taxable entity, the organization has had to adjust the rates for the services it offers as the exclusive towing provider of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) as of May 16, 2018.

As such, the VAT-adjusted rates for AAP's services on the NLEX and SCTEX are as follows:

* Rate/Km Beyond Exit or Storage Facility Shall Include the Return Trip Distance

** Flat Tire Change, Battery Boost and Tools Assistance plus PHP500 Per Extra Hour in Any Class
