ADVISORY: DPWH to conduct repairs on MM roads until Aug. 22

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced that weekend road repairs will be conducted along various roads within the National Capital Region starting later tonight.

In an advisory, the agency said that the Department of Public Works and Highways will begin the road reblocking at 11 p.m. of August 19 on the following roads:

• Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound in Quezon City along Santolan MRT Station (EDSA Carousel bus lane), after P. Tuazon flyover to Aurora tunnel (third lane from center island fast lane), after Aurora Boulevard to New York (third lane from island, intermittent section), after Kamuning/Kamias Road to JAC Liner Bus Station (beside center island)
• C-5 Road southbound (second lane) in Makati City
• Fairview Avenue southbound near Fleur De Lis., (first lane from center island)
• EDSA Cloverleaf northbound to segment of NLEX northbound outer lane
• Katipunan Avenue C-5 Southbound corner C.P. Garcia Avenue after intersection (second block from center island)
• EDSA southbound Quezon City U-turn Slot Service Road (in front of GMA Building), Service Road (third block of Kamuning Road intersection)
• C-5 Service Road in front of Global Oil Gasoline Station
• EDSA southbound Quezon City (Balingasa Creek to Oliveros Footbridge)

The MMDA said that the aforementioned roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday (August 22).
