ADVISORY: DPWH to conduct road projects over the weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways will be conducting various road projects over the weekend, starting 11 pm tonight until July 3, Monday.

Below is a list of the affected roads due to the agency’s reblocking and repair projects:

1. C-5 Road (northbound), Arcovia to Isuzu (first lane), Pasig City

2. C-5 Road (southbound), to Korean Embassy, Makati City

3. C-3 Road eastbound, between J. Teodoro to Rizal Avenue (first lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

4. C-3 Road eastbound, between M. H. Del Pilar St. and Josefina St. (second lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

5. Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (northbound), between Gen. Tirona Street to Don Vicente Ang, Caloocan City

6. Mc Arthur Highway (northbound), between Calle Uno to Monumento Circle (inner lane), Caloocan City

7. Rizal Avenue Exit (northbound), between first Ave. and second Avenue (first lane), Caloocan City

8. Mindanao Avenue (northbound) Mindanao underpass to Tullahan Bridge III (fronting Unioil, truck lane), Quezon City

9. Mindanao Avenue (southbound), BJMP to JBD Plaza Building (fronting BJMP, truck lane), Quezon City

10. A. Bonifacio Avenue (northbound), Corner Sergeant Rivera Street (second lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

11. A. Bonifacio Avenue (southbound), opposite Gen. Tinio Street to Blumentritt (second lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

12. G. Araneta Avenue (southbound), Sto. Domingo Avenue to Del Monte Avenue (all lanes are affected), Quezon City

13. Commonwealth Ave. (northbound), from Sandigan Bayan to Kristong Hari (first lane from center) and Ilang-Ilang Street to Kristong Hari Parish Church (fourth lane from center), Quezon City

14. Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), from Diliman Doctors Hospital to Zuzuaregui Street (all lanes are affected), Quezon City

15. Commonwealth Avenue (southbound), from Don Jose Subd. to Odigal Street (first lane from center), Quezon City

16. Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), from Soliven Street to Doña Carmen (all lanes are affected), Quezon City

17. Commonwealth Avenue (southbound), from Immaculate Concepcion Street to Zuzuaregui St., (second lane to fifth lane), Quezon City

18. Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), from Kristong Hari to B. Soliven Street (all lanes are affected), Quezon City

19. Aurora Boulevard (eastbound), Broadway Ave. to Gilmore Avenue, Quezon City

20. C-5 Road (southbound), after Magsaysay Avenue, Quezon City

21. C-5 Road (southbound), after Magsaysay Ave. near u-turn slot, Quezon City

22. C-5 Road (southbound), after C-5 and Ayala Heights Intersection, Quezon City

23. EDSA (northbound), Taft Avenue - MRT Station (bus lane), Pasay City

24. EDSA (southbound), after Malibay Bridge (inner lane), Pasay City

25. Mc Arthur Highway (southbound), Malabon City

26. C-5 Road, along Doña Julia Vargas - Lanuza Avenue intersection, Pasig City

The affected roads, per the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, will only be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
