    mmda coding advisory

MMDA’s abovementioned number coding scheme — also known as the Expanded Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) — starts from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during weekdays, except on holidays.

Under the program, vehicles with plate numbers ending in 1 and 2 are not allowed on Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and on major thoroughfares along Metro Manila on Mondays. Vehicles whose plate numbers end in 3 and 4 are not allowed on the said roads on Tuesdays while vehicles with plate numbers that end in 5 and 6 are prohibited to pass through major roadways on Wednesdays.
