Advisory: Road repairs in NCR set for long weekend

Road repairs will take place in select areas in the National Capital Region for the whole duration of the long weekend, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shared.

In an advisory, the agency shared that that the Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct reblocking on the following areas starting 1 a.m. of April 6 (Maundy Thursday):

• Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) southbound, from Roosevelt Avenue Station to West Avenue (innermost lane / Bus Carousel Lane) Quezon City
• Luzon Avenue northbound, from Luzon Flyover to Congressional Avenue Extension (inner lane/first lane from plant box) Quezon City
• A. Bonifacio Avenue northbound, corner Sergeant Rivera Street (third lane from sidewalk) Quezon City
• Bonifacio Avenue southbound, Cloverleaf to Dorotea (third lane from sidewalk) Quezon City
• Araneta Avenue southbound, Sto. Domingo Avenue to Mauban Street (second lane from sidewalk) Quezon City
• Quirino Highway westbound, Sinforosa to Mindanao Avenue (second lane from sidewalk) Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue southbound, Zuzuareguei to Villa Beatriz, (first lane) Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue southbound, corner Riverside Street, (first lane and second lane from center) Quezon City
• C-5 Katipunan Avenue southbound, across Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Compound, K0015 + 317 - K0015 + 393 (Road reblocking of third lane from the sidewalk) (asphalt overlay of whole width of the road) Quezon City
• C-5 Katipunan Avenue southbound between Magsaysay Street and Shuster Street, K0015 + 184 - K0015 + 317 (road reblocking from the sidewalk) (asphalt overlay of whole width of the road) Quezon City
• E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue northbound from L. Pasco Street to Bonny Serrano Extension Road (asphalt Overlay) Quezon City
• Arayat Street, from Cistobal Street to Malabito Street (asphalt overlay) Quezon City
• Balete Drive from Mabolo Street, to Bougainvilla Street, (asphalt overlay) Quezon City
• Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Road southbound Quezon Avenue to East Avenue (first lane-second lane) (asphalt overlay) Quezon City
• Aurora Boulevard, (eastbound) before Gilmore Avenue (first lane from the center island) Quezon City
• Maginhawa Street, Malingap Street, to Matiwasay Street, including all lanes/full width (first to fourth lane) (asphalt overlay) Quezon City
• Ortigas Granada Road southbound going to Bonny Serrano (third lane from sidewalk) Quezon City
• E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue northbound fronting Mercury Drug to corner Mercury Avenue (second lane from center island) (truck lane) Quezon City
• E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue southbound after Bonny Serrano Flyover end approach to Orchard Road (first lane and second lane from sidewalk) (asphalt overlay) Quezon City
• Aurora Boulevard eastbound (EDSA to Marikina Boundary-eastbound) before F. Castillo (inner lane) Quezon City
• East Avenue westbound between BIR Road and Internal Road (first lane from the center island) Quezon City
• Kalayaan Avenue southbound opposite of Red Doorz (second lane) Quezon City
• EDSA southbound after Malibay Bridge (first and second lane from sidewalk) Pasay City
• C-5 Road southbound from Tiendesitas to Julia Vargas Barangay Ugong, Pasig City (second lane/truck lane)
  
  The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on April 11.
