MANILA: The Autohub Group of Companies has recently updated its stable with the launch of the new Mini John Cooper Works (JCW) roster for the Philippine market.
The event also marked the entry of the aforementioned lineup in the local new energy vehicle market as the British brand’s distributor in the country introduced the following models in JCW form:
“Mini John Cooper Works boasts a cult following around the world that few others can match. Steeped in heritage and oozing pure racing DNA, these striking machines are a sight to behold on the road,” Head of Mini Asia Daren Ching was quoted as saying.
“Now with the addition of two fully electric models to the lineup, a new dimension of the iconic Mini go-kart feeling is born. If jolts of adrenaline are what drivers desire, I can assure them that all five models of our all-new Mini John Cooper Works family will exceed their expectations,” the executive added.

Both the Mini JCW Electric 3-Door and the JCW Aceman share an electrified powertrain (which can be juiced up using a CCS2 charging port) that can deliver the following numbers:

While this is the case, the two models have differing ranges as a fully charged JCW Aceman can cover 355 kilometers while Mini JCW Electric 3-Door, up to 371 kms.
Both vehicles are outfitted with a signature red, white, and black JCW logo, black side skirts, alongside the C-pillar aeroblades and a rear spoiler.
The JCW Aceman sits on 18-inch alloys while the Mini JCW Electric gets 19-inch wheels.

All five new offerings fitted with leather upholstery and soft-touch surfaces in red and black hues. They also have JCW sport seats and dashboards, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
