BYD Cars Philippines has sold 26,122 units in 2026.According to the ACMobility-led, overall sales for January-December last year was at 26,122 units.
Compared to the data from Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) for its November 2025 churn, the Chinese automaker passed Ford’s sales — which was the organization’s top three distributor on the said period.
At the time of posting, CAMPI and TMA have yet to share their members’ sales performance for 2025.
Meanwhile, BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca expressed pride over the latest accomplishment.

Performance details
In a statement, BYD Cars Philippines noted that its sales showed a 446-percent year-on-year increase fueled by the high consumer demand across its lineup.
Its best-selling units, BYD Cars Philippines shared, are the Seagull and Sealion 6 DM-i.
Boosting the strong customer appreciation towards its offerings, it now has a 79 dealer-strong network as of 2025 — a significant increase from the 25 locations in 2024.

“These milestones are a clear signal of our unwavering, long-term commitment to the Philippine market,” BYD Philippines Country Head Adam Hu was quoted as saying. “Together with ACMobility, we are committed to fueling this momentum and making new energy vehicles the standard, not the exception, for Filipino drivers,” he ended.
Today, Denza — BYD's premium sub-brand — officially entered the local market.
