CARMUDI PH participates in 2017 MIAS
In their bid to bolster their presence to help the automotive sector, the local arm of online business classifieds Carmudi recently joined one of the biggest and the most anticipated auto event of the year, the 2017 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
From March 30 to April 2, Carmudi Philippines has partnered with MIAS organizers to show their aggressive stance on promoting the brand to Filipino car buyers and sellers. Carmudi Philippines has joined MIAS for the third straight year since their debut on Philippines shores.
Carmudi Philippines managing director Abhi Mohan said that their continued participation on MIAS and other similar events for Filipinos to experience the convenient and safe way of car buying and selling.
“Buying and selling cars would involve a large amount of money. So, while there are lots of channels that are available, we would like them to know that there is a convenient and safe way of buying and selling cars and that is through Carmudi Philippines,” Mohan said.
Last year, MIAS amassed over 110,000 visitors and Alvin Uy, one of the organizers for the event, said that they eyed to surpassed previous years’ figures.
Aside from that, the Berlin-based company is also in the business of educating the public through their CSR (corporate social responsibility) programs. Last March 7, they conducted a financial literacy seminar at the Sky Hall of SM Seaside, which was attended by 1,500 students of University of Cebu, through the help of wealth and life coach, Chinkee Tan.
Late last year, the company made its debut CSR program in Manila. Dubbed as the Road Safety Caravan, hundreds of students attended the event at that was successfully made in partnership with Turbo Zone.
Students from STI-BGC came to listen and participate in the healthy discussions about road safety education. The seminar was led by award-winning journalist Jiggy Manicad and Oscar Oida.
As an additional attraction, Carmudi Philippines brought the Formula car of a Filipino racing great, Tyson Sy at their booth. Visitors get to see a Formula Car in the metal that is being driven by true-blue Filipino champ.
Further, Carmudi Philippines has also promoted its monthly magazine and online website that announces the latest news and trends in the automotive sector. Visitors who went to booth were given copies of the monthly magazine that is now available on selected bookstores and coffee shops nationwide.
In closing, Mohan vowed to provide more ways to better reach out to Filipinos, through various available means while keeping business at bay to help local automotive market.
“Carmudi Philippines is not just in the country for the sole purpose of business. We want to help every Filipino while assisting the local automotive market to further boost economic growth. Rest assured that we are here to help you out in making the right choices,” Mohan concluded.
