Connecting Green Mobility

Connecting Green Mobility

In helping motorists to achieve sustainable mobility, two experts in their respective fields signed a joint venture with the vision of assembling E-vehicles that will be integral to improving the life of Filipinos through better air quality.

Ropali, a company that originated in Cauayan, Isabela and one of the Top Motorcycle Dealers in the country, spearheaded the partnership with TECO, a Taiwanese company that specializes in developing and manufacturing electric motors. With the partnership, a new company was born (ROTECO).

Roteco was built because there is an opportunity to combine innovation and resources to address critical social and environmental challenges. There is also an opportunity to focus on transforming systems and practices that are the root causes of poverty, marginalization and environmental deterioration, with the primary objective to create sustainable system change. Roteco also saw an opportunity for social entrepreneurship with the objective of giving back to the people by providing them with clean air and clean living.

In fulfilling its vision, Roteco will set-up its manufacturing plant in Subic, Olangapo this year. It will also start production of electric vehicles this year. All of Roteco’s efforts will focus on its vision of improving the lives of Filipinos by providing electric vehicles that contribute to cleaner air.
