  • What are the CTEK MXS 5.0's two formats?

The CTEK MXS 5.0's two formats are the single box and the and the Battery Charger and Maintainer Value Pack.
  • What is the CTEK MXS 5.0's starting price?

The price of CTEK MXS 5.0 starts at P8,200.
  • Considered as the best-seller in its lineup, the vehicle battery charger’s distributor in the country said that the aforementioned model is compatible with all types of 12-volt lead-acid batteries — including AGM batteries — of up to 110 Ampere hours.

Aside from juicing the battery up, the company said in a statement it also has a battery diagnosis function that evaluates whether the unit can receive and retain a charge.

Further, CTEK Philippines said that the MXS 5.0 is meant for maintenance. “Each time you connect it to your battery, it delivers the right charging pulses in order to effectively bring the battery up to 100 percent. Once it reaches the mark, the charger automatically goes into Pulse Monitoring mode, wherein it keeps track of the charge level in the battery,” the company explained. “The moment the battery’s charge level goes down to 80 percent, the MXS 5.0 will resume charging. This allows the MXS 5.0 to charge efficiently, while ensuring that there is no risk of overcharging,” it added.

In addition, the CTEK also comes with Recondition mode for deeply discharged batteries. It also has a patented automatic desulphation program.
