DOTr rolls out ‘One RFID, All Tollways’ program
MANILA: The “One RFID, All Tollways” program has been rolled out by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) today.

The two operators participating in the event are SMC Infrastructure and Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation.Per the agency, the initiative is aimed at providing motorists a seamless use of the country’s major expressways without having to use multiple Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) cards.
“We are proud to announce the successful completion of interoperability between our electronic toll collection (ETC) systems, Autosweep and Easytrip. This latest feature will directly benefit motorists who will register for a new ETC account, as they will only need one RFID and account to travel seamlessly across the Luzon expressway network,” SMC Infrastructure and Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation said in a joint statement.

How to enroll
Register online by visiting the website of your chosen service provider.
After choosing your desired RFID provider, proceed to your service center to remove the extra sticker.
Reload your account and use it on all Luzon tollways.
Things to prepare
- Sales invoice (if you are using a brand-new car)
- Deed of sale (if you are using a pre-owned car)
- Valid driver’s license
- Original receipt, certificate of registration
Enrollment only takes 30 minutes, and program participants are encouraged to prepare a valid email address.
Those getting a new RFID sticker can get one pre-enrolled to the program.
“The road to One RFID was not easy, as it required extensive work on the part of all stakeholders. Both ETC providers made significant upgrades to their existing infrastructure to integrate their systems, while conducting rigorous testing to ensure smooth and seamless interoperability,” the firms said.
