DPWH opens Roxas Blvd-Libertad southbound; northbound to undergo repair

The southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard near Libertad Pumping Station in Pasay City is now open after being partially closed due to rehabilitation works.

Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Nomer Abel Canlas reported to Secretary Roger Mercado and Senior Undersecretary Rafael Yabut that vehicles except trucks can now use the said portion from V. Sotto to Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) after the department completed the replacement of a damaged box culvert.

In a press statement, the department said that the improved road pavement in the area will ensure safer movement of people, goods, and services. 

Meanwhile, the DPWH said that the similar construction works will be made at the northbound direction of Roxas Boulevard. With that, motorists are advised to use the northbound service road or other possible alternate routes.
