FPG Insurance Welcomes New President and CEO

FPG Insurance Co., one of the biggest players in the non-life insurance industry and pacesetters in motor insurance coverage, has a new President and CEO starting January 6, 2020; Gigi Pio de Roda. Together with the emerging portfolios for travel and residential insurances, Gigi now leads FPG Insurance's chief motor insurance.

Gigi, who has over 30 years of proven financial services expertise, has been a veteran in the insurance market. She was Philam Life /AIA’s Chief Operations Officer (COO) before she joined FPG Insurance, and is known for her transformative business operations via complex executions and efficiency, and is known for Philam Life/AIA's digital revolution since 2017.

Prior to Philam, Gigi served HSBC Philippines in different executive positions, such as Chief Operations Officer, Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, and Chief Risk Officer. Gigi has a degree in Management of Financial Institutions from the De La Salle University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICDPh), and also serves as a professional executive coach.
