Fuel prices to go up for 2nd straight week tomorrow

Fuel companies in the Philippines will raise the retail prices of their products tomorrow (January 16, 2024).

    Local players will raise the price of gasoline by P0.30 per liter and P0.90 per liter on both diesel and kerosene.

    The adjustments will be effective as early as 12:01 a.m. of January 16, 2024 on some brands.

    • Based on their respective announcements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, and Seaoil are set to raise the pricing of gasoline products at the pump by P0.30 per liter. Diesel, on the other hand, will have a P0.90 per-liter hike.

    Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall also jack up the price of kerosene by P0.90 per liter.

    Other local fuel companies are expected to have the same adjustment, which will start as early as 12:01 a.m.

    Last week, gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices all went up by P0.10 per liter.
