Fuel prices to skyrocket anew

MANILA: The price of products at the pump will see an upward trend as the cost of fuel is expected to increase in the first week of August. 

According to the respective updates from local oil players such as Unioil, Cleanfuel, Petron, and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Incorporated, gasoline prices will jump by P1.90 per liter and diesel by P1.20 per liter. Similarly, the cost of kerosene will slightly surge by P1.00 per liter. 

Other fuel companies are expected to implement the said price changes by tomorrow, August 5. 

Last week’s movement

Last week, the price of fuel saw mixed movement. The price of gasoline dropped while the cost of diesel and kerosene jumped. 

Here is how it looked:

Kerosene	P0.40 per liter (increase)
