GAC Motor PH opens GenSan dealership

GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company) Motor Philippines has recently inaugurated a dealership in General Santos City.

Managed by the Angcore Motor Group (the newest addition to the Astara Philippines-led distributor’s growing dealer-partner network), the newly-opened GAC Motor General is situated along National Highway at Purok Palen, Barangay Labangal.

The new establishment, which follows the GAC’s international showroom standards, is built with a showroom that can house up to six vehicles while its service area features bays that can handle as much as five vehicles for diagnostics and maintenance.

“GAC Motor is forging on to reach every corner of the Philippines, and together with this alliance with the Angcore Motor Group, we eagerly deliver the brand to customers in General Santos.  Astara and Angcore are aligned in empowering Filipino lives through the outstanding mobility solutions that GAC provides,” GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt said.

On the other hand, Angcore Motor Group Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Antonio Rubi Alberto Ang is also happy on the collaboration with the Chinese automaker’s arm in the country.

“We are beyond enthusiastic about this partnership with Astara Philippines with the opening of our new GAC Motor dealership here in General Santos City. Our most discerning customers seeking innovative and outstanding vehicles with reliable, world-class quality will surely find it in all our GAC Motor models,” the executive stated.

The dealership offers the recently-launched GAC M6 Pro and M8, as well as the GS3 Emzoom, Empow, Emkoo, and GS8.

All GAC Motor vehicles purchased in the dealership come with an after sales warranty for the first five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.

Relatedly, GAC Motor Philippines bared that it plans to have 35 dealerships running in various part of the country saying that it eyeing to put facilities in Zambales, Congressional Avenue and Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City, Valenzuela City, and Guiguinto in Bulacan by the end of 2024.
