Gas retail price hike to breach P1/L this week
Fuel players in the Philippines shall implement its biggest pump price hike yet on gasoline tomorrow (January 23).

The adjustments will be effective as early as 12:01 a.m. of January 23, 2024 by some brands.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Flying V, Jetti Petroleum, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall implement a P1.30-per-liter increase on their gasoline products' retail pricing.
Aside from that they shall also jack up the price of diesel by P0.95 per liter.
Kerosene prices for Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil, on the other hand, shall show no adjustment for the week.
The movement on prices, which other oil firms in the country are expected to implement as well, shall take place as early as 12:01 a.m.
Last week, prices of diesel and kerosene already went up by P0.90 per liter, while gasoline, by P0.30 per liter.
