Gasoline retail prices rises by more than P1/L today
Oil players in the Philippines have started to implement another major price hike on gasoline today.

Local oil players are set to raise the price of gasoline by P1.10 per liter, diesel by P0.20 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 per liter today.When did the adjustments take place?
Some local players made the adjustments on pump prices as early as 12:01 a.m. today.Based on their corresponding advisories Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petron, and Unioil are set to raise the retail price of gasoline products by P1.10 per liter. On the other hand, the pump price of diesel, shall increase by P0.20 per liter.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will jack up the pricing of kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
The adjustments for some of the aforementioned fuel companies already took place at 12:01 a.m. today. Other oil companies are expected to follow suit.
The latest adjustment on pump products is the fourth consecutive increase for the month of August alone.
Last week, gasoline products went up by P1.90 per liter, diesel by P1.50 per liter, and kerosene by P2.50 per liter.
