MANILA: The sixth-generation Prelude was previewed at the second edition of the Honda Fest 2025.
Although the car was displayed publicly at the event (held at the Festival Mall in Muntinlupa to mark the company’s 35th year in the country), Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) President Rie Miyake reiterated its announcement that car will be formally introduced to the Philippine market next year.

So while waiting, here are some details about Honda’s upcoming liftback coupe based on what was seen at the event.
Sporting a white-colored body paint, the showcased Honda Prelude comes with a sleek look, thanks to its two-door coupe body style. Seen at the fore is a two-part grille with horizontal slats at the upper part and a honeycomb pattern below.

At the back are the Honda and Prelude logos as well as the horizontal light bar that connects the tail lamps, diffuser on the rear bumper, and a spoiler-like tail.

As seen at the display in this year’s Japan Mobility Show, the dashboard features a rich mix of tactile buttons and knobs. In the middle is the floating infotainment system that matches the digital instrument cluster fitted in front of the multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel.

Expected to propel the arriving all-new Honda Prelude is the 2.0-liter e:HEV powertrain made up of a two-liter direct inject gasoline-fed engine and two electric motors — allowing the drivetrain to provide:
|
Engine maximum output (in horsepower [hp>) |
141 |
|
Engine peak torque (in Newton-meters [Nm>) |
186 |
|
Electric motor maximum output (in hp) |
181 |
|
Electric motor peak torque (in Nm) |
315 |
This setup allows the car to do 23.6 kilometers per liter (based on Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle standards).
