Here's the Price List, Variants of All-New Toyota Corolla Altis

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is launching the all-new Toyota Corolla Altis today, but before that happens, we've secured its price list from one of its dealers.

Just to double-check, we inquired with other dealers and got the same price list, so short of today's launch, we're confident of the prices you'll find here.

There will be five variants available locally for Toyota's popular compact sedan. These are:

Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6E MT: PHP999,000

Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6G MT: PHP1.045 million

Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6G CVT: PHP1.115 million

Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6V CVT: PHP1.185 million (White Pearl: +PHP15,000)

Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8V Hybrid: PHP1.580 million (White Pearl: +PHP15,000)

A couple of weeks before the launch, TMP shared in its invitation to the press that the Corolla Altis will finally have a hybrid engine, as it brings "hybrid electric vehicles closer to Filipinos."

If the Philippine-market Corolla Altis Hybrid will be sourced from Toyota's Thailand plant--which it'll probably be--then that means it'll have a 1.8-liter 2ZR-FXE gasoline engine with an output of 97 hp and 142 Nm of torque and an electric synchronous motor with permanent magnet powered by a 201.6-volt nickel-metal hydride battery that produces 53 kW (71 hp) and 163 Nm of torque through an electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT) that will simulate a seven-speed automatic. The combined output of the hybrid combo is reportedly 120 hp.

As for the 1.6-liter models, it'll have a 1ZR-FBE engine that puts out 123 hp and 156 Nm of torque through, depending on the variant, a seven-speed-simulated CVT as well or a six-speed manual.

While browsing through Toyota Thailand's site, we did see one variant that we'd like to make its way here--but unfortunately isn't on the price list we received: the GR Sport. 

The all-new Toyota Corolla Altis sedan made its public debut in November 2018 at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition in China.
