Honda Cars PH welcomes new president and general manager

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda's automobile business unit in the country, has welcomed Noriyuki Takakura as its new president and general manager effective April 1, 2017. Prior to heading HCPI, Takakura served as the managing director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Australia for four years where he was in charge of Australia's automobile business unit. In addition, Takakura's 15-year career in Honda has seen him gain expertise in Product Planning, Marketing, and Sales. Takakura's predecessor in HCPI, Toshio Kuwahara, has been appointed as the new General Director of Honda Vietnam where he will be assigned to both automobile and motorcycle business units.
