Honda opens flagship moto store in Baguio City

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) announced the opening of its flagship store in Baguio City that would also serve as a hub for riders and big bike enthusiasts in the country’s summer capital.

The premier Honda flagship store in Baguio — and the 10th of its kind around the country — was established in partnership with Guanzon Group of Companies headed by Guanson Lo. The other nine facilities are situated in Cebu, Davao, Makati, Cagayan de Oro, Bulacan, Batangas, Dumaguete, Cabanatuan and Aklan. 

Located along Marcos Highway, Bakakeng Central, Baguio City, Benguet, the newest Honda flagship store is aimed to reach and cater to customers in the entire Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

“The pandemic brought a significant shift in customers’ habits. Riding a motorcycle became more relevant due to the growing delivery service sector and the increasing number of people looking at riding a motorbike as a hobby. Motorcycles are also considered one of the most convenient means of transportation as it lets motorists experience the joy of mobility amid the strict safety protocols set by the authorities,” HPI Senior Assistant Vice President for Motorcycle Sales and Supply Chain Management Jomel Jerezo said.  

“And since travel restrictions in Baguio City are now easing up, this new flagship shop also aims to serve as a layover place for riders and big bike enthusiasts to check our exciting motorcycle lineups, especially this coming holiday season,” he added.  

With a 780sqm floor area, the showroom area presents the full lineup of Honda motorcycles and big bikes that are retailed locally, a cozy customer lounge and a service bay area.

HPI assured that the facility offers quality service as well as genuine accessories and spare parts. 

“We are excited to formally open the 10th Honda Flagship Store and the first of its kind here in Baguio City. We believe that through this store, we can bring the joy of mobility closer to our customers – residents and tourists alike – here in the Philippines’ Summer Capital, especially amid the new normal,” HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi said.
