Honda PH to launch all-new CB150X on Apr. 1

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has announced that the all-new CB150X will be available for retail a few days from now.

In a statement, the leading local motorcycle manufacturer said that forthcoming offering — which is said to be “the perfect balance between styling and performance” — can be purchased in all HPI 3S dealerships around the country starting April 1.

“It was only right to make the all-new CB150X available in the Philippines given its unique offerings ideal for any Filipino rider, and we share this tremendous excitement with the market,” HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi was quoted as saying.

Taking its cues from the CB500X (which was launched in October 2021), the all-new Honda CB150X features an adventure-style design and a tall windscreen to match sturdy-looking bash plate as well as the 12-liter fuel tank.

The all-new Honda CB150X is powered by a 149cc liquid-cooled, DOHC PGM-FI engine mated to a six-speed transmission. The power mill can provide up to 15.4 horses and 13.8Nm of pulling power and has a fuel efficiency rating of 38 kpl. The vehicle’s stopping power is handled by the wavy front and rear disc brakes.

Aside from that, the upcoming model features a full-digital meter panel, an all-LED lighting system, a tapered handlebar, and a duck fender.

Furthering the riding comfort assured by the upright riding position, long suspension stroke, and high ground clearance are the Showa inverted front forks and pro-link rear suspensions.

Available in two body color options namely valiant red and matte gunpowder black metallic, the all-new Honda CB150X has a suggested retail price of P163,900.
