Honda showcases camouflaged SUV RS Concept at GIIAS 2022

Last year’s Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) saw the unveiling of the Honda SUV RS Concept, a tangible manifestation of the development of the brand’s take on compact SUVs. This year, Honda gave fans not just a camouflaged version of the concept SUV but also hope that it could arrive soon.

Currently, visitors to the Honda booth at the ongoing GIIAS 2022 can see the Honda Small SUV RS displayed in a special box using an attractive livery on the exterior. Attendees can also scan the QR Code located next to the display box which leads to a site containing more information about this model. This site will periodically display details from images and product information to the launch schedule of this model.

“This model is a follow-up to the realization of the Honda SUV RS Concept, which was previously greeted with great enthusiasm by consumers in Indonesia. This model will also strengthen Honda's line in the SUV segment, which currently continues to be the fastest growing segment in Indonesia. Currently, we are still doing some studies on this model, and in the near future we will launch it in Indonesia,” said PT Honda Prospect Motor Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director Yusak Billy.
