Hyundai Motor PH opens latest dealership in Capiz

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has recently opened its doors to its newest dealership in the “Seafood capital of the Philippines.”

Strategically located at Barangay Bolo in Roxas City, the latest sales facility has a land area of 3,783 square meters with a display area that can showcase up to four vehicles and a service area equipped with six bays that are ready to serve current and future Hyundai customers.

The Hyundai Roxas dealership — which is under the Ang Group — is the first dealership inaugurated under HMPH and serves as the company’s start to its road to 45 authorized outlets by 2023.

“It was just a few weeks ago when we had a special unveiling in Iloilo of our new MPV, the Stargazer. And today, we celebrate yet another milestone for the Ang Group, with the inauguration of Hyundai Roxas,” HMPH Directing Coordinator for Aftersales Young Uk Ko said during the inauguration ceremony.

“Alongside, Mr. Tonton, Mr. Tony and their dedicated team, we are very excited to finally be here in this part of Panay Island. We are grateful for their continued trust and confidence towards the Hyundai brand. And we look forward to helping them achieve more breakthroughs for years to come,” the executive added.

A loyal and dedicated partner for over two decades, Ang Group Chairman Antonio “Tonton” Ang said that the construction of the newly-opened dealership began some three years back. “We started construction in 2019, but when the pandemic hit last 2020, we struggled to finish the construction. Thankfully, after three years and overcoming that significant setback, I am proud and enthusiastic to finally welcome you all to our showroom,” Ang shared.

One of the network’s pioneers, the Ang Group started its journey with Hyundai in 2002 with its Iloilo dealership.

 “Here at Hyundai Roxas, as with all our dealerships, we promise to continue offering high quality cars, products and services, because we value our clients’ time, hard work, and investment,” Ang added.

Aside from the Stargazer, HMPH said that Capiznons can look forward to seeing Hyundai’s lineup of new models in the dealership — which operates from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays — such as the Creta, Palisade, Tucson, Santa Fe, and Staria.
