The cabin of the all-new Hyundai Grandeur is designed to provide a clean, comfortable respite for busy lives. Featured is the ambient mood lighting that spreads softly across the door trim and the front of the dashboard, and interactive lighting on the upper right of the integrated display provides a new user experience.
The steering wheel was also inspired by the single-spoke design of the first-generation Hyundai Grandeur. The control for the gear knob is now moved to the steering wheel freeing up space on the center console.
On the sleekly-styled interior surfaces, designers applied real wood, aluminum, and naturally-dyed Napa leather quilted in a traditional Korean pattern to provide further differentiation and refinement.
The sedan’s interior and exterior abound with sustainable materials. In addition to eco-process Napa leather, there is hygienic, anti-bacterial leather applied to various touchpoints.
The seventh-generation Hyundai Grandeur looks like it could be an electric vehicle (EV) although the South Korean automotive brand has not yet disclosed information about the car’s powertrain setup. Nevertheless, it’s giving us vibes similar to the Ioniq 5, which the company recently previewed at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
