Lexus announces limited 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition

The Lexus high-performance coupe, the RC F, is getting a limited-edition model dubbed the Fuji Speedway Edition.

According to Lexus, the 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition builds upon the RC F model and will feature master-crafted upgrades that seamlessly work together to push performance to a new level.

Included are Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, a titanium exhaust, and extensive use of carbon fiber to improve aerodynamics and reduce the weight of the performance-based coupe.

Lexus claims that the 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition offers more than just aesthetic enhancements, and that because of the slight modifications to its exterior the souped-up coupe speeds from standstill to 60mph in only 3.96 seconds which takes the standard RC F model 4.2 seconds.

The 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition will only be made available in an exclusive Electric Surge paint.

Inside, the cockpit is finished with black and blue Alcantara-trimmed seats and is complemented by Alcantara accents on the shift knob and steering wheel. F logo scuff plates and serialized badging add a finishing touch to this limited-edition RC F.

The 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition will only be made in 50 units.

Lexus also announced a special RC F Carbon Package that should take the owner’s RC F experience up a notch. Included is a carbon-fiber roof, rear bumper, lip and air dam front spoiler, fin rocker, door lower molding, and retractable wing rear spoiler.

RC F Carbon Package will see the standard RC F ride on 9-inch matte black wheels.

Inside, owners can also expect the use of upscale materials which result in a carbon-fiber interior trim, leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel with power tilt/telescopic steering column, and intuitive parking assist.

Lexus said that the 2022 RC F models including the 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition will arrive in US dealerships later this month (September).
