Lexus announces RZ BEV, to reveal more details tomorrow

Lexus, like most car companies, has turned its focus on developing electric vehicles. In a recent press release, Toyota’s luxury division announced that it will unveil the all-new RZ.

According to Lexus, the RZ SUV will showcase the brand’s challenge for a carbon-neutral society. The reveal, under the theme “Voice of the Earth,” will premiere tomorrow, April 20, on Lexus’ website.

Lexus adds that the unveiling of the BEV SUV will feature the joy of driving only Lexus can offer with sounds of nature collected from the real world that stimulates the five senses.

The RZ, based on several teaser photos revealed by the carmaker, appears to share several similarities with the Toyota bZ4X and the Subaru Soltera. With the RZ being a Lexus though, we expect the luxury EV SUV to sport more plush interior trims and upscale convenience amenities.
