Local firms to raise fuel pump prices this week

The adjustments on pump prices on some oil players are set to be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.Based on their respective advisories today (October 23), Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil will conduct the retail price hikes on diesel by P1.30 per liter and gasoline by P0.95 per liter.
Additionally, local players are also set to raise the price of kerosene by P1.25 per liter.
The adjustments will be effective to some firms as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (October 24). Other players are expected follow suit.
Last week, the price of gasoline products went up by P0.55 per liter but prices of diesel and kerosene rolled back by 0.95 per liter each.
