Major oil players jack up pump prices anew
Local fuel companies continue to bump up the pump prices this week.

For the first week of August, oil companies increased the price of gasoline by P2.10 per liter, diesel by P3.50 per liter, and kerosene by P3.25 per liter.What time did the adjustments take place?
The said adjustments took place at 6 a.m. today.Per their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, and Unioil increased the retail price of gasoline by P2.10 per liter. Meanwhile, the retail value of diesel saw a hike of P3.50 per liter. The cost of kerosene, on the other hand, jumped by P3.25 per liter.
The adjustments took place at 6 a.m. today.
Other oil players are expected to follow the aforementioned adjustments.
Last week, fuel corporations increased the price of gasoline by P1.35 per liter, diesel by P0.45 per liter, and kerosene by P0.35 per liter.
This is the fourth straight price hike for the second half of the year.
