McLaren, Tumi release new luxury travel bags

McLaren Automotive and international travel and lifestyle brand Tumi has released its latest luxurious travel bags.

The four bags are the Velocity Backpack, the Torque Sling, the Quantum Duffel, and the Aero International Expandable trolley bag.

All travel bags use CX6: an exclusive, flexible carbon fiber material. As both a premium and high-performance fabric, CX6 is engineered with exceptional qualities, resulting in an abrasion-resistant material that aids in preserving the purity and durability of carbon fiber’s charcoal sleek finish.

Built on a shared ethos of innovation, technology, and design, the new colorway responds to the core McLaren DNA — McLaren has not made a race car or road car without carbon fiber in over 40 years.

The new pieces are added to the Tumi | McLaren collection via Tumi.com and through Tumi’s global retail stores. On Tumi’s United States (US) website, the Torque Sling is priced at US$995 (P58,704) while the Velocity Backpack is priced at US$1,595 (P94,103). The Quantum Duffel, on the other hand, has a price tag of US$1,995 (P117,689) while the Aero International Expandable carry-on bag has a sticker price of US$2,495 (P147,185).
