Meralco’s Movem installs EV charging station inside Pacific Star

Movem Electric Incorporated has placed a new electric vehicle charging installed inside the Pacific Star Building in Makati.

In a statement, Meralco’s wholly-owned green mobility subsidiary said that a 22-kilowatt AC Type 2 charger (which supports various brands of four-wheeled EV units) can now be utilized by those who have access to the high-rise structure in Makati City that is managed by Century Properties Management Incorporated (CPMI).

Leading the turnover ceremony were Meralco Real Estate Industry Lead Darryl Francisco, CPMI Group Projects Operations Head Margarita Bautista, Movem Electric Chief Operating Officer Maria Francesca Defensor, CPMI Senior Marketing and Support Services Vice President for Operations Streisand Tuason, and CPMI President and Chief Executive Officer Rafael Yaptinchay.

Per Movem, the collaboration with CPMI is in line with its support to the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act through the provision of end-to-end EV and charging infrastructure solutions for institutional customers and the riding public.
