Metallica's James Hetfield to Display 10 Custom Cars at Petersen Automotive Museum
The Petersen Automotive Museum has announced that Metallica frontman James Hetfield will have some of his custom cars on display at the venue in February 2020.
Announced during the annual breakfast press conference at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Hetfield's collection consists of 10 custom cars, including the 1948 Jaguar 'Black Pearl' and the 1937 Lincoln Zephyr 'Voodoo Priest.'
The cars will be displayed in the Bruce Meyer Family Gallery along with Metallica artifacts and memorabilia.
As for Hetfield himself, he has been made a Founding Member of the Museum. As clarified by Petersen, Founding Members "are top-level museum donors."
