MG Motor PH reveals details of upcoming all-new ZS

MANILA: Prior to its official reveal set this week, MG (Morris Garages) Motor Philippines already revealed the details of the next-generation ZS.

The crossover’s soon-to-be-introduced version shall enter the local new energy vehicle arena — particularly in the hybrid category — as one of its variations will be retailed with an electric mill.

While waiting for its pricing (expected to be revealed on launch date), here’s what customers will get should they choose the next-generation MG ZS.

The all-new MG ZS carries aesthetic more contemporary than its outgoing counterpart thanks to the slimmer headlamps, more fluid body lines, and an upgraded grille design.

• Roof-mounted rear spoiler
• Rear windshield defogger
• Glass-printed antenna 

Depending on the trim, the small sport utility vehicle sits on 16-, 17-, or 18-inch wheels.

Interior

Welcoming occupants inside the all-new MG ZS are plush fabric or leather seats, as well as a pair of digital displays (seven or 3.5-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3- or 10.25 infotainment system [Android Auto and Apple Carplay-ready).

The all-new MG ZS is equipped with an inline-four, 1.5-liter, gasoline-fed engine that, in mid- and top-tier variants, comes with an electric motor or a turbocharger.

With all the specifications provided, Carmudi Philippines is estimating that the all-new MG ZS would have a price range of sub-P1 million all the way to P1.2 million. However, the SAIC Motor Philippines-led distributor has yet to confirm the pricing.
