Mitsubishi breaches 100,000-unit production mark in Mar. 2023
Mitsubishi Motors has produced more than 100,000 units around the world for the month of March alone.

Mitsubishi builds cars in Asian countries such as China, Indonesia, and Thailand.In a statement, the Japanese automotive marque said that a total of 100,806 automobiles came out of production facilities globally in March 2023.
Of the abovementioned figure, 48,729 cars came from Mitsubishi Motors’ domestic production while the remaining 52,077 units were built from the marque’s overseas facilities.
The company said that its overseas production volume include those that were built from China (803), Indonesia (14,637), and Thailand (26,408) where Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) sources some of its models.
Currently, MMPC's lineup consists of the Mirage hatchback, Mirage G4, Xpander, Xpander Cross, Montero Sport, Strada, Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, and the L300.
Mitsubishi Motors pointed out that in terms of domestic production, the aforementioned figure reflects the brand’s third consecutive monthly year-on-year increase since December 2022. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Motors’ overseas production in March translates to its first monthly year-on-year increase in six months since October of last year.
