  • The contract signing ceremony — held at the IPC headquarters in Binan, Laguna last August 12 — was attended by J&T Express Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dean Ding, Gencars CEO Edgard Cabangon and IPC President Noboru Murakami together with their respective teams.

The agreement between the three firms sealed the logistics company’s purchase of NQR and FVR trucks from Isuzu Makati on top of the 400 units that currently comprise the former’s fleet.

“As one of the fast-growing logistics companies in the country, J&T Express continuously expands their logistics services nationwide, providing fast and convenient delivery services to Filipinos. And choosing Isuzu products which can traverse various road conditions and terrains in the Philippines complements J&T Express’ goal to reach and serve even the most remote areas in the country,” the Japanese truckmaker’s local distributor said in a statement.

Per IPC, Gencars — one of its long-time partners that ensures providing customer satisfaction to Isuzu clients — initiated the partnership with J&T Express. The signing of the partnership agreement, IPC noted, signifies IPC and Gencars commitment to provide efficient solutions to J&T Express’ sales and aftersales needs.

Murakami gave J&T Express the assurance IPC will continue to be hands-on in attending to their service requirements through authorized Isuzu dealers around the country through its national fleet program.

To note, the aforementioned initiative is designed to provide comprehensive support to the vehicle maintenance management for fleet customers.

“With durable vehicles paired with an all-inclusive aftersales program, IPC continues to contribute to the progress and development of the Philippine society by offering efficient logistics solutions,” IPC concluded.
