1966 Batmobile 1 - $4.62 million
The Dark Knight owns a car befitting only that of billionaire Bruce Wayne. Based on the 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, it first appeared in the 1966 iconic television series featuring Adam West. Building the car in the 50’s cost $250,000, but today it has a sparkling $4.63 million price tag thanks to the Dark Knight series directed by Christopher Nolan.

The Super Snake edition is an ultra rare car model with a stingy attitude. This two-door roadster was the personal car of automotive designer, entrepreneur and racing driver Carroll Shelby. This particular variant was made for competition and was equipped with Twin Paxton Superchargers before it was converted to a street legal car. Another celebrity who owns this car model is comedian Bill Cosby.

One of the first GT40s created in the US was a lightweight version and was equipped with a 4.7 liter v8 engine. Its enduring design and performance made it a pedigree at Le Mans. This particular car is well known in US racing history after it saw a podium finish at the 1965 Daytona Continental 2,000 kilometers. With these characteristics and the fact that the original engine and gear box are still intact, it fetched $7 million at the Mecum auction.

Bob Bondurant, its former racing driver, bought it in exchange for some big bucks.
