All-New Suzuki Vitara Appears at 2017 Car of The Year-PH Test Fest

Suzuki Vitara
Members of the motoring media were in for a surprise on the third and final test day of the 2017 Car of the Year-Philippines (COTY-P) Test Fest at Arca South in Taguig last October 28 as the all-new, fourth-generation Suzuki Vitara graced the day-long event, over a week before the compact sport utility vehicle is formally launched by Suzuki Philippines on November 9. For the 2017 COTY-P search, Suzuki Philippines made available the top variant of the Vitara, the Vitara GLX, for its qualitative and technical tests. Aside from the Vitara GLX, Carmudi.com.ph learned that the Vitara will also have two other variants, the Vitara GL and the Vitara GL+, and that all three variants will only be available with an automatic transmission. The all-new Vitara is said to provide 115 hp and 150 Nm of torque, with a maximum seating capacity for five occupants. Some of its main selling points would be the panoramic sunroof and keyless push start system aside from its Euro NCAP's (New Car Assessment Program) five-star rating safety features such as the six-point airbag system, pedestrian protection, hill hold control and parking sensors. The GL and GL+ variant will be available in five colors: Cosmic Black Metallic Pearl, Galactic Gray Metallic, Silky Silver Metallic, and Cool White Pearl. Meanwhile, the two-tone variant for GLX would be offered in Horizon Orange Metallic, Atlantis Turquoise Metallic, and Bright Red Metallic.
