Nissan production, sales dip in Nov. 2022

Nissan's recent report for the brand’s production and sales figures for the month of November 2022 revealed that the company saw a decline in the aforementioned metrics.

Globally, Nissan produced 248,961 cars in November 2022. In November of the previous year, the carmaker built 322,218 vehicles globally. The difference in the automotive firm’s production translates to a 22.8 percent dip.

As for its sales, Nissan sold 227,279 units globally in November 2022. Compared to the company’s 307,492 vehicle sales in November 2021, last year’s figure translates to a 26.1 percent decline globally.

Export-wise, Nissan exported 35,475 units in November 2022. Here, the Japanese carmaker saw some progress with a 97.7 percent increase over the 17,947 cars it exported in November 2021.

In the Philippines, one can say that Nissan had a good 2022. The brand’s local arm launched the limited-edition Nissan Navara Calibre-X at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), showcased the new all-electric Leaf at the 10th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), and wowed attendees of the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) with its display headlined by the Livina and the Kicks e-Power.
