Oil firms continue fuel prices’ upward trend this week

MANILA: Fuel players in the Philippines shall continue the upward trend on fuel price adjustments this week.

Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petron, and Unioil announced that the retail price of diesel will have a P1.40-per-liter upsurge. Aside from that, they will also raise the pricing of gasoline products by P0.40 per liter.

Meanwhile, kerosene will see a P0.80-per-liter price hike. The adjustments will start tomorrow (January 27).

Last week, local players already jacked up the prices of their products at the pump by as much as P2 per liter. Here are the movements in the fuel prices in January 20:
