Oil firms slash pump prices for 2nd time in May 2025
MANILA: In case you were too busy with the midterm elections yesterday: oil companies are set to cut down prices of their products at the pump this week — the second straight downward adjustment for the month of May.

The adjustments on the retail prices started today — with other firms expected to follow suit.

To recall, here are the adjustments last May 5:
- Gasoline: P0.55-per-liter slide
- Diesel: P0.65-per-liter reduction
- Kerosene: P0.90-per-liter trim
