Oil Firms to Jack Prices Anew Tomorrow

Oil companies are set to increase the prices of oil by the pump tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25.

In their respective advisories, Pilipinas Shell and Cleanfuel will raise the prices of gasoline by PHP0.30, and diesel by PHP0.55, per liter respectively.

Further, Shell will also jack up the price of kerosene by PHP0.45 per liter.

Various reports say Phoenix Petroleum and Eastern Petroleum will follow suit.

The said movement is the second price hike for the month of June. It also came after three consecutive rollbacks.

Last week, oil firm imposed price hikes of PHP0.35 on gasoline, PHP0.25 on kerosene, and PHP0.201 on diesel.

The price hike halted the downward trend on price adjustments, that led to a total of more than PHP4 for both diesel and gasoline.
