Oil firms to raise gas prices by nearly P2/L this week
After increasing its pump price by P0.50 per liter last week, oil players in the Philippines will implement a nearly P2-per-liter hike on gasoline this week.

The adjustments on pump prices will take place tomorrow.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petron, and Unioil shall jack up the price of gasoline products at the pump by P1.90 per liter. They are also set to raise the retail price of diesel by P1.50 per liter.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also add P2.50 per liter on kerosene.
The adjustments will take place tomorrow.
Last August 8, the price of diesel went up by P4 per liter, gasoline by P0.50 per liter, and kerosene by P2.75 per liter.
