Local oil giant Petron is promoting the vaccination drive against COVID-19 through its latest campaign, the Panalo Bakunado program.

Petron Loyalty Card owners — who include users of Petron Value Card (PVC) and Super Driver Card (SDC) — are entitled to join the promo.

Petron cardholders who have been vaccinated with either their first or second dose have the chance to win in a raffle draw for a chance to win motorcycles, smartphones, and fuel — with no purchase required.

The following prizes are at stake:

  • Motorcycle: five winners
  • Free Petron fuel for a year (maximum P60,000): five winners
  • Samsung S21 smartphone: five winners
  • Free Petron Gasul for a year (maximum 12 refills): 10 winners
  • Free Petron lubes for a year (maximum P5,000): 10 winners
  • Petron eFuel Card worth P1,000: 100 winners

To join, Petron Loyalty Card holders only need to give the following information once at the Petron promo microsite:

  • Loyalty card number
  • Full name
  • Birthday
  • Mobile number and
  • Home address

After filling up the required information, the participant needs to upload a photo holding their vaccination card that shows they have been inoculated (either initial or full dose). The photo may be in .JPEG, .JPG, or .PNG format with file size up to 5MB.

Once the requirements have been completed, the registrants will receive an SMS notification on the registered mobile number of the Petron Loyalty Card. The said text message will indicate the raffle reference number as proof of promo entry.

The registration to the Panalo Bakunado promo will run until August 31, 2021. Winners will be drawn on September 6, 2021, and will be informed via registered mail. Should the participant win more than once in the promo, he or she will get the prize of higher value.

Prizes will be delivered to the winners in the form of a prize certificate. Petron will shoulder the 20-percent tax for prizes exceeding P10,000. Prizes are transferable but cannot be converted to cash.

Winners of the motorcycle grand prize must redeem the unit at the local motorcycle dealer within 90 days from receipt of the prize certificate. Registration and other related expenses are not included.

To note, San Miguel Corporation (SMC), the parent company of Petron, has launched the Ligtas Lahat vaccination program to boost the vaccination goals of the government.

According to Petron President and Chief Executive Officer Ramon Ang, they are banking on the “success of vaccination efforts to boost our economy and the business environment in general... We are inspired to do more, grow stronger, and contribute further to society.”
