PH oil firms to impose 'big-time' price hikes this week
Oil firms in the Philippines shall implement big-time hikes on the pricing of their products at the pump this week.

The said adjustments shall become effective as early as 12:01 a.m. of March 26, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Phoenix, Seaoil, and Unioil are set to raise the retail price of gasoline products by P2.20 per liter and diesel by P1.40 per liter.
Additionally, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also jack up the price of kerosene by P1.30 per liter.
The adjustments, which other companies are expected to follow suit, shall be conducted as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (March 26, 2024) by some firms.
Last week, prices of gasoline went up by P0.10 per liter but trimmed down the same amount for diesel.
