PH oil firms to raise gas prices this week

Oil players in the Philippines will raise the retail price of gasoline for the third time this month.

    • Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil announced that for this week, they are set to jack up the price of gasoline products at the pump by P0.30 per liter.

    However, the same firms advised that they would lower the price of diesel by P0.40 per liter.

    Further, many of the aforementioned brands shall increase the price of kerosene by P0.10 per liter.

    Other firms are expected to implement the same price movement, which will take effect beginning 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (April 18).

    Last week, the local fuel companies added, P2.60 per liter on gasoline, and P1.70 per liter on diesel, and P1.90 per liter on kerosene.
