PH oil prices to spike tomorrow

Local oil firms are set to increase their prices at the pump this week — the second straight hike for the second half of 2024.

    Companies shall jack up the prices of gasoline by P1.60 per liter, diesel by P0.65 per liter, and kerosene by P0.60 per liter.

    • Based on their respective announcements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil will implement a price increase on gasoline products by P1.60 per liter and diesel by  P0.65 per liter.

    Aside from that, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall also jack up the pricing of kerosene at the pump by P0.60 per liter.

    The movements in the prices shall be effective starting tomorrow (July 9).

    Last week, the prices of products at the pump went up: gasoline by P0.95 per liter, diesel by P0.65 per liter, and kerosene by P0.35 per liter.
