Pricing of all-new MG ZS starts at P948,888

MANILA: MG (Morris Garages) Motor Philippines has revealed the pricing of the all-new ZS.

The price reveal  followed the release of the vehicle's specifications last week.

Considered as one of the brand’s highly sought-after offerings, the next-generation crossover is available in four trims that bear the following price tags:

However, the SAIC Motor Philippines-led firm is also slapping a limited-time P40,000-P80,000-discount to customers.

Prior to the launch, the company released the vehicle specifications.

Measurements

Size-wise, the all-new MG ZS offering has the following measurements

Further, the small sport utility vehicle has a trunk capacity of as much as 1,457 liters.

Exterior

Sporting a modern look than its predecessor, the all-new MG ZS is fitted with slimmer headlamps, smoother body lines, and an upgraded grille design.

Complementing the said portions are:

• Power-folding side mirrors with heating function
• 18-inch alloy wheels
• Roof-mounted rear spoiler
• Rear windshield defogger
• Glass-printed antenna 
• 16-, 17-, or 18-inch wheels (depending on the trim)

Interior

The all-new MG ZS cabin is outfitted with plush fabric or leather seats, and two digital displays (seven or 3.5-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3- or 10.25 infotainment system [Android Auto and Apple Carplay-ready>).

Standard and optional amenities that can be found inside the vehicle are:

• Electronically-adjustable seats with lumbar support
• Push-to-start button and keyless entry system
• Electronic parking brake

Powertrain

The all-new MG ZS’ power is supplied by an inline-four, 1.5-liter, gasoline-fed engine that, in mid- and top-tier variations, comes with either an electric motor or a turbocharger.

Guaranteeing vehicle stability and control are its suspensions made up MacPherson struts (front); and torsion beam (rear) and the disc-type brakes on all four wheels.
