Suzuki Burgman 15 enters PH market

MANILA: After a series of teasers posted over social media, the Suzuki Burgman 15 has officially entered the Philippine market.

The entry of the local Burgman stable’s latest member—which sits in between the Burgman Street and the Burgman 400—sets up a milestone as the Philippines is the first country in the ASEAN region to bring in the nameplate.

Set to go wheel-to-wheel against Honda PCX 160 and Yamaha Nmax 155, the newest motorcycle offering in the market is a product of the Suzuki-Haojue collaboration.

This maxi-scooter sports a unique look, thanks to its front fascia that includes a high beam/passing light positioned between the low-beam headlamps.

The Suzuki Burgman 15 is powered by a four-stroke, single cylinder, single overhead cam, two-valve, 149 cubic-centimeter, gasoline-direct inject engine. This powertrain can dish out:

Paired with an automatic transmission, the motorcycle has a capacity of 43.6 kilometers per liter (based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle).
